Tank is sired by Sunset Hill’s Andean Gold, a producer of both black and grey offspring and a grandson of PPeruvian Victor. His dam, LAAF Paladin’s Belledin, is a PPeruvian Victor great-granddaughter and 5th-generation Hemingway, also carrying black and grey in her background. Despite only being bred to white and light fawn males herself, the genetics are clearly there.

As a breeding male, Tank must be housed separately from females & also other males due to normal male behavior and good herd management practices.
Post-shearing, Tank really shines: great bone, square build, and excellent skin quality, noted by shearer Chris Hatch. His visible skin “sand bars” (wrinkles along the back and neck) indicate greater fleece density thanks to increased surface area—a trait breeders value.
Tank is a sweet, well-mannered male who fits in well here, but we’re downsizing and are committed to placing him—or his genetics—into the right program.
